An order placed in the morning arrived in T.O. the following day. Great for the pandemic as it's something you can do with people while social distancing. The breaking up of bulk packs here means I can try out more rockets cheaper.
I have built (in order) the Alpha III with the help of this video https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=th8Xs2lF0p8 - the Ghost Chaser -which was Super easy, and the Astra (not difficult but required a little more patience for a beginner like me). Happy that I got a few extra tools (like an exacto, and more glues) and that I bought more engines. I bought the bulk pack and ran out of Bs first. With Cs the Ghost Chaser goes so high I can't see it.
Now it's all about finding low wind days to do launches!
The best rocket shop in Canada with an excellent selection of build supplies and motors. Scratch-building has been a fun and addicting hobby within model rocketry. Nice selection of motors and kits. Orders ship fast, well packaged and always correct.
Exceptional Business and Service
It was my first time ordering from the Canadian Rocket Store, and I very pleased that I did. I had built some rockets when I was much, much younger, and wanted to do the same with my Grandson. I found the Canadian Rocket Store, after looking for something I felt would be easy and comfortable to build and launch I ordered the kit. To my surprise I received an email shortly after confirming my order but also that I would be getting $10 off as they were able to reduce the price of the kit I ordered. There are many hobby stores offering the same products, but the difference between the "Good" and the "Great" business's is in service and Pavel and the Canadian Rocket Store is one of the Great ones. It was 1 day even in the Pandemic and I received my kit, and now my Grandson and I can assemble and eventually launch the rocket together and hopefully a new hobby for both of us. Thank-you. Danniel
Overall, it was a fun experience with my little guy. We launched the rocket at 0 C and wind, so the batteries died after our 5th launch. My 6th launch - we lost the rocket. Going to order new one, A engines are weak and fly 10-15 m high. B engines are good, will try C next time.
